To prepare:
- Review the “Guide to Academic Journaling” document in the Learning Resources and create a research journal you will use throughout this course.
- Consider the differences between a social problem and a research problem and review literature associated with a social problem of interest.
- Review the Research Journal grading rubric located in the Course Information area of the course for information regarding how your research journal entries will be evaluated.
- Use the APA Course Paper Template (APA 7) found in this week’s Learning Resources to complete your Assignment.
Note: It is important to make sure you save your research journal in a Word document outside of the course for future reference.
Assignment (1–2 paragraphs). No cover page is required, as this is a continuous document used in Weeks 1–4 and Week 11. Instead, date each entry on the document just as you would in any other journal. Be sure to include references.
