This assignment requires you to conceptualize a mixed methods study relevant to a current issue in nursing practice. You will choose a specific clinical problem and outline how a mixed methods approach could provide a holistic understanding and potential solutions.
- Select a Clinical Problem: Identify a complex issue in nursing that could benefit from a mixed methods approach.
- Design a Study: Outline a brief research proposal incorporating both qualitative and quantitative elements.
- Specify the mixed methods design type (e.g., convergent, explanatory sequential, exploratory sequential).
- Describe the data collection and analysis processes for each method involved.
